Our Story

Inspiration often comes from the people we love most. For me, that inspiration is my son, Xane. I’m Christian Jones, a father and creator whose life has been transformed by love, challenges, and purpose. He is the reason I became both a designer and an advocate for children with disabilities.

Xane was born with mild cerebral palsy and CMT1A, conditions that affect his flexibility and motor control. From the very beginning, our journey was filled with doctor visits, therapy sessions, and uncertainty, but also powerful moments of progress that revealed his strength and resilience.

What started as a personal mission soon grew into something larger: The BrokenLame Foundation. Our foundation is built on the belief that children with disabilities deserve more than inclusion, they deserve celebration. Through innovation, creativity, and community, we design tools, create resources, and build programs that help every child feel strong, seen, and supported.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to break barriers and open doors for children with disabilities. We are committed to reshaping what is possible by:

Providing adaptive gear that helps children feel comfortable, confident, and stylish
Designing inclusive programs that promote fitness, creativity, and self-expression
Building supportive communities where families, coaches, and partners come together to uplift every child
Shifting perspectives so disability is not seen as a limitation, but as a story of resilience and possibility

Every sneaker, story, and program we create is driven by the same purpose: to spark confidence, connection, and joy. We believe every child has the right to feel celebrated, capable, and limitless.
